Neil O'Conchuir

Performance and Rehab Specialist

Performance Trainer

Having been coaching people to improve their physical and mental performance since 2004 I have had the pleasure of working with many people from a variety of backgrounds achieve their goals. I believe that it is important to constantly seek to learn and develop as a trainer in order to provide the best possible service to my clients through keeping up to date with the latest evidence based research.

I believe in a holistic approach to overall health. This simply means that it is important to take into account all aspects of your lifestyle when assessing health and performance. Too many people are currently living with constant pain and chronic fatigue when it simply is not necessary. A few simple adjustments can go a long way to rectifying this over time..

“Your training program will be bespoke to maximise results, so our first session together will be a consultation.”

Performance means different things to different people. Because of this the key to success is making your sessions specific to you. Whether you are looking to maximise your athleticism for sports performance, make the most of your active lifestyle or are simply striving to look and feel your best we need to structure your sessions to address these needs.

Injury Rehab

Injuries can be an unfortunate part of training, sport or everyday life. Most non-contact/non-collision based injuries are completely avoidable and are usually caused by muscular imbalances/weaknesses, poor movement patterns, or a combination of the two.

“Pain is your body telling you something is wrong. Don’t ignore it!.”

The reality is that whatever the cause of your injury the most important thing to do is be proactive about your rehabilitation and corrective exercises in order to return to whatever you consider to be normal function. I would even take this a step further and strive to make improvements on previous limitations (circumstances permitting).
